Featured Project: Capitol Hill Sleek

Minimalist and streamlined, adjectives synonymous with Snaidero, are elegantly executed in this Capitol Hill project. Our client, an active young family, desired a kitchen that functions effortlessly for both adults and children while remaining accessible, organized, and free of clutter.

With a clear vision in mind, our design-forward client wanted a kitchen that felt sleek and modern, but not sterile. They appreciated the high contrast of dark cabinets against the white space and added open shelving to keep the installation light and airy.

A soft matte lacquer in Pure Black was chosen as a result of its luxurious, velvety texture. The finish is both stylish and practical, minimizing fingerprints which is an attractive option for a family with young children.

To bring warmth and personality, natural brass hardware was selected for the black and white palette. The floating stone ledge adds visual interest on the open wall and creates a functional yet artistic spot for display and storage.

Each zone in the kitchen was designed with purpose. The tall elevation serves as the fresh food and drink station, the island as the clean-up area, and the wall as the cooking station. This layout helps to organize tasks to promote order and minimize clutter.

The result: a high-performance kitchen defined by clean lines, high contrast, and understated elegance, perfectly aligned with the aesthetic carried throughout the rest of the home.
