The primary kitchen of this home reflects a coastal aesthetic with Reflect White matte lacquer and Medium Oak matrix finishes. The homeowner selected our WAY cabinet style to create a quiet canvas for the stainless appliances and neutral color palette.
Anchored by a floor to ceiling storage system along the back wall of the kitchen, the handleless design allows a substantial amount of storage to blend seamlessly into the room.
The entry-level kitchenette echoes the primary kitchen featuring our WAY cabinet style, while introducing the textured Oslo Oak matrix finish. The subtle grain creates an interesting texture without adding weight or distraction from the large French doors that open into a private garden. The open-concept design, which includes an efficient dry bar, provides plenty of room for entertaining.
An abundance of natural and ambient lighting, soft tones, and warm colors envelope the solarium design by Notting Hill Gardens Design Build, which seamlessly integrates the outdoor living and provides a flexible space for entertaining.
The Reflect White matte lacquer finish on the wall cabinet above the dry bar presents an element of continuity with the primary kitchen upstairs. The open shelving provides functional storage and an elegant opportunity for display.
The goal of this project was to expand the living space and create a design that could easily grow and adjust to the homeowner’s lifestyle. The charming coastal influence and lush landscape that exists beyond the glass transitions seamlessly with the contemporary cabinet details and quiet neutral color palette just inside. These elements culminate to form a true sense of serenity in the home, always at one with nature.
