Recently Completed: Family Kitchen Reimagined

After falling in love with a friend’s Snaidero kitchen, our DC based clients knew they wanted the same Italian craftsmanship in their own home. The family kitchen, designed for and used by their kids, no longer suited their lifestyle. Their storage needs had matured, and they were ready for a space with better flow and more openness.

While they originally envisioned lighter tones for their finishes, the Night Blue Mica Matte Lacquer caught their eye. The dark blue provides a timeless, elevated look while keeping the space light and airy at the horizon level with the Jasmin White Tech Sense finish.

For the clients, improved circulation was the top priority. Removing the pantry that once restricted the entrance and reconfiguring the layout transformed the kitchen into a more open and flowing space. Floor-to-ceiling cabinetry now effortlessly houses their essentials, creating a simplified, more functional design, while additional solutions ensure the family can quickly access frequently used items

Beyond functionality, this kitchen reflects the family’s personality. Capturing a nostalgic nod to the family’s history, a framed growth chart carved out of the old kitchen wall adorns the space, accented by their children’s arts and crafts. Every element reinforces the kitchen as the heart of the home.
