The transformation in old town north
Just south of D.C., along the G.W. Parkway, rests Old Town North, a bustling enclave with a multitude of new development transforming an area well known for its historic charm. A recent kitchen refresh within a modern row house echoes the “Old Meets New” concept and breathes life into the home.
The kitchen is anchored by Snaidero cabinetry and uses a mix of finishes and materials to deliver an inviting design that is fresh and welcoming.

Book ending the west facing wall are Miele and Subzero appliances. The cabinetry features a combination of Snaidero’s LOOK and LUX styles in Medium Oak and Aluminum Town finishes. The contrasting materials are topped with Caesarstone counter tops.
Tabarka Studio’s hand painted terra cotta tile honors the homeowners Portuguese heritage, a small 6″ ledge runs across the elevation and provides a spot for oils and spices.

The refreshed layout dramatically lightens the space and grounds the home in a rich variety of materials allowing the family enjoyment for years to come.
